Many local places have a story, and Shakespeare’s Pub is no different. Shakes, as affectionately known locally, opened in 2003 in the old building of the Shakespeare Rod and Reel Company.
While the building was in massive disrepair (it had suffered damage from a fire), co-owners Ted and Scott knew this was the right spot to start their business.
