This toddler experienced the most adorably amusing reaction to taking in an unexpectedly spicy pepper!

Lucy Estrada (@lucyestrada50) is a mum or dad and TikToker who loves sharing movies of her lovable young ones. Lucy’s son Emmett has a fondness for spicy food so Lucy did not hesitate when the adventurous toddler asked to consider a spicy pepper. Regrettably, Emmett wasn’t geared up for just how spicy the pepper would be. Lucy’s TikTok movie revealing Emmett’s hilarious reaction to the pepper racked up 13.3 million views and counting, and experienced TikTokers cracking up!

The movie starts with a shot of Emmett standing on a stool in Lucy’s kitchen holding a jalapeño pepper in his hands. The toddler grins at the camera then will take a chunk of the pepper. He chews fortunately for a moment and even holds the pepper out to his mother to offer you her a chunk, but then the spiciness kicks in.

Emmett’s experience promptly variations from a grin to a glance of shock and horror as he processes the spiciness. He gasps and begins waving at his mouth, but bravely continues chewing the pepper.

“I thought you reported it wasn’t spicy!” Lucy jokes as the toddler continues to wave his hand in entrance of his mouth.

“Is it spicy?” Lucy asks, and the toddler nods as he makes an attempt to complete chewing the pepper.

“Want some water?” Lucy provides and Emmett eagerly nods his head.

Even though Emmett is plainly not savoring the spiciness of the pepper, he in no way loses his neat. Instead, the toddler calmly sites the jalapeño on the kitchen area counter and walks to the fridge. He patiently waits as the fridge faucet fills his cup with chilly h2o.
