The finalists for the Food Awards England 2022 have been revealed – and there’s a whole host in Nottinghamshire amongst them going for glory. The awards celebrate the best in the food industry – the people who “enhance the flavours of England” or take our taste buds around the world.
Contenders from the county have made it into the regional final for categories including best cafe, takeaway, chip shop, and restaurant. A black-tie ceremony will take place in Manchester in June, welcoming the top professionals, who provide delicious dishes, the freshest of products and rich menus.
A spokesperson said: “England offers a wide range of places that serve world cuisines. The finalists were voted for by the public for providing authentic recipes and unique dishes to their diners, creating memorable experiences for both residents and visitors.
