Shipping worker allegedly tampered with food items purchase sent to police precinct

Police say it appears a supply worker tampered with a Chipotle food purchase that was meant to be shipped to the 61st Precinct on Monday. 

They say the shipping and delivery worker allegedly opened the food stuff get and touched the food stuff though putting a take note with a “disgusting” concept inside of it just before handing it over to the buyer inside the precinct. 

A video shows the man positioning a vulgar notice into the opened buy – immediately into the food stuff with bare fingers. 

The take note also looks to imply that the supply worker did something more obscene to the foodstuff.

A photo of the be aware and a screenshot of the order ended up posted on Fb. Law enforcement say they think the order was put at the Chipotle on Kings Freeway and East 13th Avenue.

Law enforcement say they believe that the human being who did this was a DoorDash supply employee and not a Chipotle worker.

The officer had seemingly started off to try to eat the food items before he discovered that note, in accordance to law enforcement. 

News 12 arrived at out to DoorDash and a spokeswoman responded to News 12 in a statement declaring, “This actions is definitely unacceptable and has no put in our neighborhood. We consider the have confidence in and regard of retailers, customers, and Dashers incredibly seriously. We have deactivated the Dasher and are achieving out to the shopper included.”

News 12 also reached out to Chipotle for comment and has not listened to back again nonetheless.
