The delivery-only sensation Lion Cub’s Cookies is set to open its first retail store late next week at 1261 Grandview Ave. Founder Brad Kaplan launched the cookie brand in November 2019 with a series of pop-ups at North Market. Then, amid the pandemic, the Lion Cub’s team delivered more than 8,000 cookies per month to Central Ohio homes. The super-thick cookies come in a broad range of rotating flavors, from cookies and cream to puppy chow to Fluffernutter and more.⁣ Read more about Lion Cub’s here.  

The Barnyard Buster is staying in Clintonville. On Wednesday, Tee Jaye’s Country Place announced on Facebook that it will take over the space at 4560 N. High St., formerly Bareburger. Known as a rare local option for late-night grub, Tee Jaye’s shuttered its longtime restaurant at 4910 N. High St. this April when the out-of-state landlord declined to renew the lease. According to Tee Jaye’s announcement, the new location will have a liquor license. An opening date is still forthcoming.
